Most of the rings we sell are saw-cut (for better, flush closures) but we recently added a few machine-cut sizes. For information about anodized aluminum, refer to How Do I Select a Material? in the FAQ section and Anodizing in the Fall 2007 Newsletter. Exact measurements for each ring size will be very close to the regular aluminum stats of the same ring size.

Anodized Aluminum
There can be color variations from ring to ring, but we try to minimize this by hand picking out as many off-colored rings as possible. For some batches with great color variation, we'll toss in an extra 10-20 percent, in case you need your colors to be super consistent. Each size of anodized aluminum rings is dyed separately after it is cut, which means that the color completely covers the ring. It also means that different sizes of the same color may not match exactly, because they were dyed at different times.

February 2010 update: We are completely revamping our entire Anodized Aluminum process.
When we're finally all set up, the new rings will be 100% Made-in-the-USA.

Actual colors may differ from batch to batch (as stated above) and of course, these colors will look different depending on your computer monitor settings.

RED	ORANGE	YELLOW	GREEN	BLUE	VIOLET
PINK	BROWN	GOLD	BLACK	PURPLE	TURQUOISE

H18 Mixes may contain "in-between" variations of the colors above, and may contain various quantities of each color. (For instance, the Earth mix has much more blue/turquoise and green than gold.) If you need exact quantities of specific colors, order each color as needed rather than ordering a mix.

EARTH

The colors of the globe: blue & turquoise, green, brown and gold.

WATER

Watery blue, turquoise and a bit of dark purple.

FIRE

Equal mixtures of red, gold (and/or yellow) and orange tones.

SKY

Blue sky with fluffy clouds: turquoise, blue and bright aluminum (non-anodized).

PERSIAN

Inspired by a Persian Rug: red with gold, orange, black and brown.

BERRY

Yummy blue, violet, purple, turquoise and pink.

MULTI

Mixes vary by size, and will include all available colors in that size.

Saw-cut Anodized Rings

50 and 100 rings = base price. Purchase larger packets of rings and save: 15% off packs of 250; 25% off packs of 500, 42-45% off packs of 1,000. (These savings are built into the pack price.)

You can split "Large Packs" (500 and 1,000) into batches of 250 of the same gauge (ie, 18g). For example, before adding a pack of 1,000 18g rings into your cart, split it into F18 x 500 green + H18 x 250 gold + L18 x 250 purple, and you'll get the higher price break.

Machine-cut (Pinch-cut) Anodized Rings

We don't specialize in pinch-cut rings, but we are providing a few sizes as a courtesy to folks looking to make projects in Link it. This way, you can get all the rings you need—rubber and anodized—from one supplier!
