Rubber Rings come in 13 colors and are made from soft, non-latex rubber. They are silicone, which makes them shinier than neoprene and EPDM rings. You can use them as spacers, closed jump rings, or beads. Color consistency is good, but may vary slightly from batch to batch, especially between orders placed several months apart. These are the rings used in Susan Thomas's book, Link It. Please see our comprehensive supply list to see exactly which rings you need for which projects. Susan's rings were purchased from Fire Mountain Gems, and so to avoid confusion, we are referring to the rings we sell by the same color names that FMG uses. Dye Lot Note - Some of the yellow is more mustard colored, specifically C19, D14 and P14. We use our naming system for the rings (where the letter refers to the inner diamter, and the number refers to the thickness of the ring). For your convenience, Susan Thomas' code is also listed—Outer Diameter x Inner Diameter x Wire Diameter. Actual colors may differ from batch to batch (as stated above) and of course, these colors will look different depending on your computer monitor settings. Rubber rings are typically muted in color and difficult to photograph. For example, the blue rings shown below may look more vibrant on screen than they do in person. The multi-mix includes whatever colors were available in that size when we made the mix. If you need to make sure that a particular color is in the mix, check with us before ordering, because usually at least one or two colors are missing from the mixes.
