Art Deco Cuff

Description: Squeeze and fold rubber rings into small metal jump rings to create a striking geometric bangle. Students will receive diagrams for project variations, including earrings. Take advantage of optional pre-class prep to complete your bracelet faster in class.
Students will Learn: How to combine rubber and metal rings; create different looks by manipulating the placement of the two colors of rubber; how to finish the piece with a slide clasp if you prefer.
Prerequisites: Students should be comfortable working with jump rings in size 18 SWG (standard wire gauge) 1/8-in. (3.2 mm) inner diameter.
Project will not be completed in class.
At least 16 years old.
Supplies to Bring: Beading mat, task lamp.
Pliers: Roundnose, small flatnose. Instructor prefers Lindstrom.
Materials in Kit: Anodized aluminum jump rings, rubber rings.
Limit: One seat per person per class.
