Description: Using mixed metals in five sizes, create an elegant necklace that is a new variation of the spiral weave Jens Pind. The class kit includes supplies to make a pair of earrings as well. Students can choose to make a colorful aluminum piece instead of the mixed-metal piece pictured.  Students who register by Jan 1 have the option to receive their kits via mail to complete at-home prep and ensure project completion during class.
 
Pre-requisite: Proficiency in at least three intermediate to advanced level chainmaille weaves. Knowledge of Jens Pind very helpful.

Tools needed: two flat nose pliers, bead mat or other soft work surface, task lamp

The kit includes full color step by step instructions, lobster claw clasp, tri-metal starter piece, ear wire, and enough jump rings in aluminum, copper and jewelry brass to complete a 21” necklace plus earrings, or a 24” necklace.
