Description: With Shaggy Scales, even folks brand new to chainmaille can create some serious "wow"! With this project, you'll learn how to add colorful anodized aluminum scales to your chainmaille. The instructor will demonstrate basic techniques to open and close jump rings. Students will see samples of several variations of shaggy weaves for inspiration.
Pre-requisite: No experience necessary!
Tools needed: two flat nose pliers, bead mat or other soft work surface, task lamp
The kit includes full color step by step instructions, toggle clasp, ear wire, and enough anodized aluminum scales and jump rings to complete an 8” bracelet.
