Viperscale 2.0

Description: Create a bold, gently curving bracelet that resembles serpent scales. Using three colors makes it easier to keep track of the pattern in this Persian-style weave.
Students will Learn: The base Viperscale weave plus an optional “2.0” variation; how to taper the end of the weave by the toggle clasp.
Prerequisites: Knowledge of at least three intermediate to advanced level chain maille weaves. Fluency with Persian weaves or Dragonscale a plus.
Project will be completed in class.
At least 16 years old.
Supplies to Bring: Beading mat, Thread Heaven, task lamp.
Pliers: Flatnose without grooves, rubber-coated, small flatnose. Instructor prefers Lindstrom.
Materials in Kit: Base metal rings in aluminum, copper, or jewelry brass; anodized aluminum jump rings; toggle clasp; color instructions.
Limit: One seat per person per class.
