Processing Time + Transit Time = Total Time to Receive Your Order
Processing Time
Processing is the time it takes us to print, fill, pack and get your order out the studio door. Express shipments will be processed first. All other orders will ship in the order in which we receive them. Orders are processed on business days (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays).
Current Order Processing Times: 5-7 business days.
Please add 1-3 business days to the processing time for Volume and Resale orders. (Please note our Volume/Resale queue is separate from our standard order queue....this means our regular customers' orders won't be held up if there is a 40,000-ring order that came in two minutes ahead of theirs!)
Transit Time
We ship orders on business days (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays). Most of our orders ship via USPS mail. When your package is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation number and can access the status of your package via USPS.com.
Domestic Standard Shipping (First class)
Available for domestic orders less than $35.00. Transit time varies from 1-5 business days, depending on how close you are to Chicago and how close you are to a major city.
Prices vary depending on your order total.
Domestic Priority Mail Shipping
Transit time varies from 2-3 business days.
Shipping fees:
$6.95 for orders up to $99.99
$5.00 for orders $100 - $249.99
FREE! for orders $250+
Note that PDFs do not count toward the order total for discounted or free shipping. Make sure your order has $100+ worth of non-PDF items in order to receive discounts on shipping.
Domestic Express Mail Shipping
Next business day delivery to most locations. If we receive your order by 2 pm, we may be able to process and ship it that same day; all reasonably-sized Express Orders will be processed and shipped within 24 hours. If you have placed your order with one of the shipping methods above and would like to upgrade to Express Shipping, please call or email us at shipping@bluebuddhaboutique.com.
Please contact us BEFORE you place your express order if you are ordering a large quantity of rings, such as 8,000 or more of a single size, or 100-pack bags of every single ring we sell. (We will work our hardest to ship your order that same day, but we are human and have our limitations!)
Shipping fees start at $20.50 for items that fit in an envelope. If your items need a box, additional charges will apply.
International Shipping
Blue Buddha has been working hard to simplify our International shipping program and recently revamped our rates and services. Please read this information thoroughly before you place an order so you understand how international shipping works. We are happy to answer your questions by email at shipping@bluebuddhaboutique.com.
We offer two types of International shipping services, United States Postal Service Flat Rate International for orders up to $25 and Express Mail International for all orders over $25.
- Orders up to $25.00 ship for $14.50 Worldwide. This is a Flat Rate service and does not include any tracking or insurance. Keep in mind, if you order a larger item, such as Tool Magic or pliers, your order could be upgraded to Express Mail International due to the size limitations of the Flat Rate packaging. If any additional charges are necessary, we will send you an invoice for the balance of the shipping cost. If your package is upgraded, it will also be insured.
- All orders over $25.00 ship by Express Mail International service and will be fully insured. A charge of $29.95 will be charged at checkout for this service. If there are any additional fees based on your location, we will send you an invoice for the additional charges. Blue Buddha requires insurance on larger orders for your protection. If your order is lost, it can be replaced quickly and easily.
If you would like a shipping quote prior to placing your order, please feel free to send a list of the items you would like to purchase via email to shipping@bluebuddhaboutique.com. We will send you a quote right away.
If your order is under $25 but you would like it sent by Express Mail, please send an email to us at shipping@bluebuddhaboutique.com prior to placing your order. We can check the fees and send you a quote. Keep in mind, Worldwide Express Shipping can take anywhere from 3-8 business days based upon your location.
If you are required to pay extra delivery charges, your order will be shipped once that payment is received. Depending on the size of your order, you may be responsible for customs and duties taxes, which can be very costly. You are fully responsible for contacting your local post office prior to placing an order to determine what charges you might incur. Under no circumstances is Blue Buddha Boutique responsbile for paying these charges.
Order Confirmations + Insurance
Orders include Delivery Confirmation. If you would like to add Signature Confirmation and/or Insurance to your package, or have it sent by Express Mail, please email us at shipping@bluebuddhaboutique.com or give us a call at 773.478.3767 or 866.602.RING (7464). We'll send an e-invoice for the services you desire.
- Insurance prices begin at $1.85 and depend on the value of your purchase. If you choose not to add insurance, please note that Blue Buddha Boutique is not responsible for packages that are lost or damaged in the mail.
- Signature Confirmation is $2.20 and is recommended if you have had trouble receiving packages in the past.
Combined Order Convenience Fee
We have a fee of $2 per order for combining multiple orders placed by a customer within a short period of time*. If once you have completed your order, you realize you have forgotten something and would like to add more items to your order, you may place an additional order online and be reimbursed the additional shipping charges. However, combining orders placed online (or adding items by phone or email) will incur a $2 convenience fee for each additional order added to the original order.
For example, if you place an order online, then place a second order and wish to combine them, we will reimburse the additional shipping minus $2 for processing. If you place an order, then place two additional orders that you wish to combine, you will be reimbursed the additional shipping you paid on both orders minus $4 and so on.

* Please note: the ability to combine your orders relies heavily on the order volume at the time you place your order and is at the discretion of our customer service folks. We do everything we can to accommodate this need but please keep in mind that it is not always an option.
