Large Coiled Butterfly
This class is part 1 of the Intricate Maille class happening on the same day. Students in this class may elect to take Large Coiled Butterfly only or continue adding layers to create Intricate Maille for an additional class fee.
EUROPEAN HYBRID WEAVE FAMILY
Wrap your wrist in colorful butterflies! This project combines brilliantly shiny base metal rings with bright enameled copper colors to create a light and airy weave. A variation of the gridlock weave, Coiled Butterfly is named for the symmetrical wing-like shapes that are created naturally by the weave and emphasized in this project through ring size and color.
Please be prepared to choose one of the following kits upon registering:
