Blue Buddha is no longer offering classes in our Chicago location, however you can still take chainmaille classes from our many instructors in the Chicago and Milwaukee area (and from Rebeca Mojica in the Los Angeles area as well).

Contact [email protected] to set up a private or small-group lesson with Rebeca.

CRE8TIME, CLS-CRE8TIME-MASTER

CRE8TIME Maker Studio

Mixed Level

Blue Buddha Boutique supports the CRE8TIME Movement on the 8th of every month by opening up our classrooms to be used as a studio by makers of all kinds.  Chainmaillers, beaders, knitters, crocheters, quilters and makers of all kinds unite!  Bring a project or two and join us for an evening of unstructured DIY doings.  CRE8TIME Maker Studios are a great place to meet fellow creatives, have some fun and make a commitment to dedicate time in your busy life for making.

Edgewater Chicago NeighborhoodWhen you get hungry, there are a ton of great restaurants in the Edgewater neighborhood to satisfy your cravings. Food and (non-alcoholic) drinks are permitted at the work table. All sessions take place at Blue Buddha Boutique studios (refer to Class Locations for contact info.) Arrive at your convenience, and stay as long as you wish. There is no charge to attend.

More about this movement from CRE8TIME.org
As our lives become increasingly crowded with “responsibilities,” we tend to ignore ourselves and find it difficult to justify creative pursuits; they seem “selfish” and are often the first things we discard.  It’s time to reclaim our creativity!  CRE8TIME is a movement, a movement supported by a group of people who want to make a positive social change.  It is designed to help people recover time each month and devote it to their particular craft, and to create a place for them to share their experiences – the joys, lessons, and results – with the creative community at large.

Please read our class policies before registering for a class or attending an open studio.
