Beaded Gridlock Byzantine
Gridlock Byzantine resembles the Beez to Butterflies variation of the Byzantine weave, although there are no similarities in construction. The weave consists of three stages, and you can stop at various points along the weave to create entirely new patterns. Gridlock Byzantine can be created with or without beads.
Example shown uses jewelry brass jump rings with brown iris beads.
Building Block Prerequisite:
Proficiency in at least 5 chainmaille weaves, including European 4-in-1 (Mesh). The Gridlock techniques shown in Coiled Butterfly are also helpful.
