Crystal (cosmic) Ring Byzantine

As originally seen in Wirework 2010, pg 30

Combine sparkly cosmic crystal rings with chainmaille to create a spectacular bracelet. The pattern looks more complicated than it actually is; this project is suitable for someone with very limited chainmaille experience.

The project woven by Bead&Button staff member Linda Augsburg for Wirework magazine uses sterling silver rings and Bermuda Blue cosmic rings. Rebeca's project on the cover used sterling with vitrail rings. Our sample to the right uses copper and Sahara cosmic rings.

Prerequisite: Proficiency in at least 3 chainmaille weaves. Knowledge of Byzantine extremely helpful.
