Artisan Market Monday: Isette Jewelry

Jennifer describes her jewelry line Isette as “jewelry inspired by the past, made with modern technology!” and it’s so true.  These beautiful designs are reminiscent of Victorian and Art Nouveau patterns and curves, but these pieces are created using a a very cutting-edge laser cutter!  (Pun intended.)  Even better, Jennifer explores the possibilities for and techniques of laser cutting in her blog, 52 Lasers.  This glimpse behind-the-scenes is one of the reasons that handmade jewelry from local artists is truly unique.

About her work, Jennifer says:  “I am inspired by the world around me. And I am fortunate that the world around me includes a 100+ year old museum collection that I’m given free reign over and a typography obsessed graphic designer husband. Design and Victoriana meet here, with a splash of whimsy.

We hope you’ll find these whimsical designs delightful too.
