Easy Spike Earrings

These simple spike earrings will have you looking on point in minutes! In fact, they're so easy to create we're going to walk you straight through it. Our shopping list below allows for the creation of 5 pairs.

Step 1: Open the large CC16 rings.

Step 2: Slide on a 6mm seed bead (color of your choice)* alternating with a spike every other bead. We used 5 spikes on each earring, and 6 qty 6mm seed beads.

step 3: Close the CC16 ring.

Step 4: Attach 2 F18s to connect the CC16s to the large closed CC16 and earwire.

Step 5: Repeat steps 1-4 for the other earring.

Step 6: Wear Proudly ;)

RING SIZES:
CC16 = 16 SWG (1.6 mm) 1/2" (12.7 mm)
F18 = 18 SWG (1.2 mm) 5/32" (4.0 mm)

*NOTE: We recommend Miyuki® size 6 seed beads - but note that some colors can be a bit TOO snug on the 16ga rings. (In particular, we do NOT recommend choosing the metallic brown iris, opaque black nor transparent amethyst, however certain batches may be fine. You may also encounter other colors that do not work well.)
